A caravan of books and modern publications to break the knowledge blockade on the Palestinian people In their initial response, which was not surprising for the esteemed members of the Arab Publishers' Association, they immediately responded to the initiative and began taking actual measures to support it, as the Palestinian cause has always been among their national and humanitarian priorities.
However, the matter did not stop there; several Arab publishing houses, whose activities extend beyond the borders of the Arab world, also responded to this initiative aimed at establishing the Palestinian right to access knowledge and engage with its Arab sources.
They supported the national ties between the people of Palestine and their brothers in the larger Arab homeland by contributing significantly to the initiative with many modern cultural publications.
This initiative, coordinated with the Palestinian Ministry of Culture and the Palestinian Publishers Association, aims to preserve the Arab identity of the brotherly Palestinian people, develop Palestinian cultural awareness, facilitate access to knowledge, strengthen cultural ties, encourage cultural and intellectual exchange, and provide knowledge resources, especially those that are suitable for the different educational stages of the affected children living in the camps.
In this regard, the Arab Publishers Association urges all those working under its umbrella (Associations and members) in all Arab countries to hasten to support this initiative, which represents an important step towards rallying behind the Palestinian cause.
It calls for the preparation of lists of the titles of modern books and publications, categorizing them biographically, in preparation for gifting them to our Palestinian brothers.
The Arab Publishers Association also calls upon the ministries, institutions, bodies, and universities active in the field of publishing across the Arab world, as well as businessmen who possess a sense of national duty and humanitarian concern toward Palestine, to contribute to the preparation of this caravan in any way they can on a cultural and intellectual level.
This is especially crucial as the Arab Publishers Association recognizes the political and humanitarian significance of this cause and its national status in the hearts of all the peoples of the Arab world, and indeed all peoples of the world who still have a conscience that beats for the justice of the Palestinian cause.
